LouLou – sensuous and innocent and a masterpiece

LouLou by Cacharel, EdP vintage bottle, 1989

When I started this blog, I drew up a list of the fragrances I own, ones I wanted to buy, and ones I would never sell as decants from my collection. One of the perfumes on my list was LouLou by Cacharel.

Bel Ami – Leathery and virile and smooth

Ganymede – leathery and spicy and contemporary

Chembur – fresh and warm and light

Fragrance 04 – complex and modern and chic

Gardeners read blogs about gardening, cooks read blogs about cooking, and perfume bloggers read blogs about perfumes. As someone who writes about fragrance, I can tell you there is no shortage of perfume bloggers out there. Over time, I've come to rely on a few and investigate others, depending on what I want information about. Want to know about new launches?  Go to Now Smell This. Le Parfum de Thérèse – carnal and elegant and iconic

La Prune (Plum)

If there is one fragrance we get asked about more than any other, it's Le Parfum de Thérèse by Editions de Parfums Frederic Malle.  People are fascinated by the love story behind its creation.
