Madame Rochas

This re-orchestrated version of Madame Rochas is based on the original from 1922, but with a slightly more intense formula by Jean-Louis Sieuzac and Jacques Fraysse. It is a soft yet rich floral chypre with top notes of orange and broom flower, a floral heart and a lovely soft, woody base which clings to the skin.

Madame Rochas brings to mind images of the glamorous Hollywood women from the 50’s and 60’s in their satins and furs - dark red lips, small waists, big hips and very high heels.

The fragrance comes in an octagonal bottle designed by Pierre Dinand which is a replica of an 18th century Baccarat crystal flacon.

Notes: orange blossom, broom, honeysuckle and neroli, ylang-ylang, tuberose, jasmine, orris and Bulgarian rose, sandalwood, cedar, vetiver, musk and amber.
